They set up an exhibition that is particularly worth seeing, which asks many current questions behind Cologne\u2019s crane buildings and at the same time creates a space for analogue.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Manoj Kurian Kallupurackal curated the exhibition INDERNET and shows contemporary creatives from India who use the internet as a platform but also as a tool. He was supported by his sparring partner Vineetha Panalickal. The designer duo manages to ensure that the exhibition is not an anonymous stringing together of artworks from the other side of the world \u2013 the opposite is the case. Through their careful selection and skilful use of the space, they manage to make the works interact. Videos, paintings, photographs and prints are juxtaposed with an ease that allows a dialogue to emerge on different levels. The fact that both Indian and European artists are exhibited creates an intercultural discourse that forces the viewer to reflect on the image of the self and the image of the other.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>For about a week, more than 400 art lovers visit the exhibition at the canal. But the exhibition is much more than a place where art is shown: It is an inspiring place that creates space for encounters and intercultural exchange. Artists are encouraged to show their portfolios, memories of trips to India are exchanged and young people with an Indian background tell their very personal stories. Contrary to expectations, the exhibition is not online, there is no Wi-Fi, you don\u2019t have to download an app to get an audio guide, there are no discount codes to collect online \u2013 it is precisely this supposed contradiction of an offline exhibition that addresses the internet that makes the exhibition unique. And this makes the exhibition much more, namely a space of real networking and interculturality.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Helena De
